Sunday's Serie A predictions and previews including Torino vs. AC Milan

Today's Serie A predictions include AC Milan's clash with Torino, and a contest between Frosinone and Juventus.

Frosinone vs. Juventus (Sunday, 5.30pm)

After a costly collapse at the end of last season, Juventus will have a point to prove when their Serie A season starts with Sunday's visit to newly promoted Frosinone.

While Juve want to bounce back from failing to make the top four in May, their hosts will be eyeing survival.

We say: Frosinone 1-3 Juventus

Juventus improved significantly when Spalletti arrived last autumn, yet they dropped too many crucial points in the final stretch.

But, with the Bianconeri unbeaten in 19 of their last 20 games against newly promoted opponents, they will not let any slip on Sunday.

Torino vs. AC Milan (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Following their late implosion last season, AC Milan must now look to rebuild under new management, and their new Serie A campaign will start with Sunday's trip to Torino.

It has been a summer of change in the red half of Milan, so Ruben Amorim's new-look side will aim to impress in Turin.

We say: Torino 1-1 AC Milan

After a revolution in terms of management and tactics, Amorim's Milan will surely take some time to find their feet.

Torino are also taking a risk by appointing Abate, but he can pick up a point against his old club this week.

Atalanta BC vs. Sassuolo (Sunday, 7.45pm)

After missing out last season, Atalanta BC will begin their latest top-four challenge on Sunday, when Sassuolo visit Bergamo on Serie A's opening matchday.

Both clubs have already returned to competitive action, with La Dea settling for a goalless draw in Europe and the Neroverdi strolling through to round two of the Coppa Italia.

We say: Atalanta BC 2-1 Sassuolo

Atalanta may take some time to learn Sarri's methods, so after a clunky Conference League display in midweek, it might not be a stellar performance.

Even so, Sassuolo are also finding their feet under Aquilani, and the hosts have enough attacking talent to secure maximum points on the opening matchday.
